I was one of the four founders of Spark Lab, an idea incubator for employees at Interel. I was responsible for developing a brand and designing promotional materials. My goal was to apply a look that sparked creativity and was versatile. For instance, the gradient colors can be swapped out for different marketing needs. In order to keep the brand consistent and recognizable, the new colors would have to comply with the current style and set up of the gradient (three, semi-analogous colors).
The image above is a Preview Party Flyer for our first event. The goal was to spark curiosity and interest in the office by not revealing too much on the flyer. We wanted colleagues to share their interest and curiosity through word of mouth. After putting up the flyers, we had several people come to us asking what it entailed, which allowed the founders to highlight the benefits of joining the group. We ended up having a high attendance rate for the Preview Party and many attendees signed up to become members.
The examples below are a variety of ways the logo can be applied.
